A kit designed to make it simple and easy to learn a new skill in the comfort of your own home. Comes with stainless steel Chinese scissors, individually wrapped coils of rattan reed (for ease of soaking at home or outdoors), raffia cord, and a very thorough video lesson from me to follow along to, at your own pace.
There is enough reed to make one basket following along with me, and one of your own design. Each kit also includes randomly selected material samples to customize your basket and help familiarize yourself with the wider world of materials. You will finish this kit with baskets, but also with an understanding of what goes into basket-making, making it possible for you to delve into making baskets on your own.
